feature request: Auto grab metadata of file according to filename and author from special cite

I have many pdf, but they do not have metadata, does some extenstion can do it?

    Zotero can generally grab metadata automatically from most PDFs when you import them. You can manually retrieve metadata by selecting the PDFs, right clicking, and choosing Retrieve Metadata.

    many pdf are scan version, cannot retrieve any metadata from pdf files.

    You should first OCR the scanned PDFs to recognize text before adding them to Zotero
