Delete a reference from one collection but not from another collection

Hello
I am new to zotero and I have a problem:
I have a collection A with references c,d,e
, and collection B with references f,c,h
I want to delete reference c from collection A, but I do NOT want it to be deleted from collection B
How can I achieve that in zotero?

That's the default behavior when you remove an item from a collection. Just press Delete.

Actually I copied all references from collection A to collection B.
Then, I right clicked reference c in collection A then chose Move Item to Trash. Consequently, reference c is deleted from both collection A and B, but I want to delete it from collection A only.

Right, if you move the items to the trash, you'll remove the item from all collections, since it's the same item in all collections. If you just want to remove it from the collection, select "Remove Item from Collection…" or press Delete on the keyboard.
