Item type for journal issues?

There doesn't seem to be an item type for journal issues, e.g. this special issue that collects a number of papers on a certain topic:

What's the best item type to use? The individual articles are journal articles, but how to record the whole issue? It's analogue to book with book sections as sub-units, but it's not really a book.
  • The best way to do it currently is to use Journal Article. That will generally yield correct references. A Periodical item type is planned for a future version of the CSL language Zotero uses for its referencing.
  • huh. I would have said book would be the best current workaround. Likely depends on the citation style/desired citation.
  • It depends on the style and especially if numbered or auther(year). It also depends on how many different whole periodicals or issues you will need to cite. As @adamsmith suggested, I find that using the book type in Zotero requires fewer edits in the bibliography than other types. No matter what publication type you select you will need to perform significant edits in your bibliography.
