IEEE Xplore translator broken again, or rather, did the IEEE site format just change?
Hi,
I've been using the IEEE Xplore translator the past few days, and it's worked flawlessly. However, today (I've noticed it from approx. midnight UTC 26th of September), the IEEE Xplore translator fails with the following error:
"An error occurred saving with IEEE Xplore. Attempting to save using DOI instead.
An error occurred while saving this item. See Troubleshooting Translator Issues for more information."
I'm understand the DOI error is because Zotero is falling back to the DOI translator. Specifically right clicking the Zotero button in firefox and selecting IEEE Xplore just gives the first error (no DOI part).
I've noticed the last few days that IEEE Xplore has had a banner at the top of the page adivising of system maintenance, but today that banner is gone. They visual layout of the page has also changed slightly. The author list is in a different place, and the download PDF button is no longer a text button on the left side of the article, but is a PDF icon on above the page.
Is this the likely cause? The error I get is different from my previouis thread: https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/73008/ieee-xplore-translator-doesnt-download-pdf-files-using-instituiton-proxy-zotero-5-0-54 where just the PDF download had issues, but the item metadata was fine.
I've followed the trouble shooting instructions (reset translators on both connector and Zotero, checked for updates, disalbed extensions etc), and repeated my steps in the above link.
Vesion information:
Zotero: 5.0.55
Zotero Connector: 5.0.41
Firefox: 62.0.2 (64bit), on Windows 10 (1703).
The debug IDs are:
Zotero Connector: D1776979838
Zotero Application: D527688636
I'm trying to access this link http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/506555/ but through this proxy link: https://ieeexplore-ieee-org.proxy.library.adelaide.edu.au/document/506555
Let me know if there's anything else I should try.

Thanks you for sorting it out so quickly, great job!
This is to report that the translator for IEEE Explore only works for individual articles. There is no translator (folder) that displays to retrieve multiple articles.
Thanks,
Desmond.
