Upgrade StorageImport Firefox Bookmarks
As you may know, Firefox is discontinuing the Description field from their bookmarks data. Version 62 removes user access to that field, and version 64 removes the Description field from their database.
Along with many others, I have been cataloging websites using Firefox, using their description field to save text snippets, and using their tagging capability to tag items.
I have tens of thousands of Firefox bookmarks I'd like to migrate into Zotero. It appears unable to import the .json file I exported from the Firefox Extended Support Release version.
What is the best pathway to do this? Convert exported Firefox bookmarks json to CSL json? Use the Zotero API to write them programmatically?

When Firefox exports HTML, it doesn't include the Description fields (and other data).
Thanks for the tip on the custom import translator. Having this for Firefox bookmarks json would be a great thing.
says the description is included in the HTML export.
