On premises Zotero solution

my department at my company would like to use central bibliography database system for a research department with many user.
Due to data security we are not allowed to use the services provided by you.
therefore we would like to host it on our premises.
Does Zotero offer such a soultion?

Not out of the box, no. The Zotero server code is online and you can run your own version of the server, but it's a full server set-up, so not completely trivial. It's also currently neither supported not fully documented, though my understanding is that there are plans to release a docker image that would make installation easier.

There's a hidden preference for the sync endpoint, I believe. @dstillman would be able to say.
