Style error: Australian Guide to Legal Citation (Blog Post)
Hi, I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue but the 'Blog Post' category in the AGLC style appears to be generating citations incorrectly.
I need to use the Blog Post category to reference social media posts and at the moment, I am receiving incomplete citations.
The relevant rule is found at 6.15.7 - 'Blogs and Online Forums' and requires the template:
Author of Post, 'Title of Post' on Author of Blog/Forum, Blog/Forum Name (Full Date of Post)
However, despite completing the relevant fields, the citation output is currently only:
Author, 'Title'
If anyone could offer any advice about how to fix this, that would be great!

If you enter these under item type 'Newspaper Article' and apply the following workarounds you get what you need (even if it ain't pretty):
Title field - Title of Post
Author field - Author of post
Publication field - on Author of Blog details within html italics tags with comma, then Blog/Forum name outside tags (this field is italicised so adding tags to the first part will cancel that out)
Place field - Full date
Url field - url
Let me know if this doesn't make sense. I'm sure there's a better way to do it, but it works.
AGLC4 will be published soon this is a good one to fix with a new style.
Thank you so much for the fix - much appreciated! It will definitely do the job :)
I had a quick go at this (blogpost was not at all defined in this style, so let's get this fixed). Could you please review carefully? I don't have the guidelines and it makes me wonder why they don't want the URL added for blogposts.

@damnation, I work with this style a lot and have a collection of document types that don't work well and my workarounds. I'd like to address these at the same time as having a go at creating a style for AGLC 4. Should I start a new thread to see what else people want amended? I'd appreciate input of others plus I'm new to csl and could do with the guidance.
Try this newer version: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/raw/38648d739760fa7257bdbd595eba7e9967886075/australian-guide-to-legal-citation.csl
AGLC4, I'll let Adamsmith answer that.
I tried your second version and it is much closer. User would still need to italicise the Blog title manually and add the Blog Author (as distinct from post author) info to the blog titile field.
Where blog authors are different to post authors, would it be possible to distinguish that with the 'contributor' author option?
What do you think we could do here for the "Blog Author"?
Much appreciated and sorry that I neglected to include that the blog post URL was required in my original post.
Thank you @StinaW @damnation and @adamsmith
