Don't ask again which PDF reader to use for viewing linked PDF files

When I link a PDF file to an bibliography entry in Zotero on Ubuntu 18.04, I can double-click the entry to open the PDF. However, it then always asks me which PDF viewer to use.

Is it possible to get an option to remember the choice, i.e. not ask again the next time I open a PDF?

By default Zotero just opens PDFs in your system default program (though "system default" is much more complicated on Linux).

I think the problem is that I'm using the flatpak version of Zotero. Apparently in this case it's not straightforward to set the default PDF viewer. I opened a corresponding issue on Github, where several people confirmed that they have the same problem: https://github.com/flathub/org.zotero.Zotero/issues/15
