Copying from notes into Word (and back again)

This seems pretty basic, but I cant find clear instructions about how to copy text from my notes into Word documents (and back again). I dont really want to have to work with HTML versions of my notes. What about printing out notes??

I've scanned the Forums and have found references to installing a Word plugin, but this seems to be about adding citations into Word documents.
  • You can copy/paste the same way you do between other apps (using keyboard or mouse shortcuts). Note that Word pastings in Zotero 2 do have junk right now, but this will be fixed:

What do you mean by this?

You can create a report & print that.
  • Thanks for your prompt reply! I assumed that the process would be as easy as you say, but it doesnt work. When I right click to highlight text in my note to copy it, nothing comes up, but you are right I can use the Edit commands in my firefox taskbar.
  • You can also use keyboard shortcuts or click-and-drag.

There is an optional plugin to enable a right-click menu in the editor that Zotero uses (TinyMCE). I don't know if it'd be worth adding or not.
