Remove a local library without deleting it remotely

Hi there,

Is there a possibility this might be implemented soon?
https://github.com/zotero/zotero/issues/1184

Working on systematic reviews and really need to start archiving some libraries.
If not, is there a workaround?

Cheers!
  • The workaround is to uncheck the library from syncing, then close Zotero, rename zotero.sqlite in your Zotero data directory, and reopen Zoter and re-sync the other libraries down.
  • Thanks. What do I rename zotero.sqlite to? I also have a zotero.sqlite.1.bak and zotero.sqlite.bak file, do I modify those as well?

Is there an ETA on a feature that allows us to remove local libraries without having to re-sync the entire library each time?
  • Renaming it to anything but zotero.sqlite (eg, zotero.sqlite.old) will cause Zotero to make a new empty library and sync down the selected libraries from the server. No need to touch the other backups.
