Upgrade StoragePDF metadata problems
Hia,
I have problems with trying to retrieve metadata from PDFs. Even if I read that it is fixed now, I cannot do it - there is no such option when right-clicking the newly drag-and-dropped PDFs to Z as in http://www.zotero.org/support/screencast_tutorials/retrieve_pdf_metadata. The place where this metadata thing should be, I have "Reindex item" option.
I tried to update all the possible things, an still no can do. I am using Mac OS X.
What to do?

seanWhat version of Zotero are you running? Do you have the PDF indexing tools (check in Zotero preferences) installed?

OzmopoliteI think my Z is 2.0b4 - at least when I look from about Zotero, it states that. I have pdftotext and pdfinfo both 3.02 installed.

seanAre the PDFs top-level items or child attachments to a parent Zotero item?

OzmopoliteSorry, you lost me.. what are top-level items or child attachments? In any case they are normal PDFs which I have downloaded from various sources, normally academic journals. Then I just got them to Z exactly as in the tutorial..
