Saving annotated and clean version of an article?

Is it possible to save the same article as two separate versions? I'd like to save a "clean" version and a version with my annotations.

    Did you mean:
    - two versions of the PDF (one clean, other annotated) attached to the same item, or
    - two copies of an item (each with one PDF) which would then show up as duplicates.

    Both are possible, but can you describe what you are trying to achieve?

    ZotFile's send to tablet function allows you to automate that (and doesn't actually require a tablet).

    Otherwise you'd have to manually attach a second copy of the PDF

    Basically, it sends a PDF to a folder on your computer, then pulls it back and extracts annotations (and optionally makes a copy).
