Reduce the frequency of update checks

Hi all --

I'm trying to reduce how often Zotero asks me to update to once every couple of months, or only at major releases. (Because of my university's rules, I have to reopen Zotero as administrator to update, which is a pain, so I want to do that less often.)

Is changing app.update.interval in the advanced configuration the way to do that? Or is there a better way?
