Shortened Titles

How do I enter a shortened title for a longer book title, which will be used for all but the first citation? It seems like this must be answered elsewhere, but I can't seem to find any information on this.
Thanks.
  • "Enter" where?
  • When I am adding a book to my library and I am entering all the bibliographical information, is there a way of designating a shortened book title to be used in all but the first footnote? So, for example, I have a book where the full title is "Beyond Calvin: The Intellectual, Political and Cultural World of Europe's Reformed Churches." I want that full title in my bibliography and in the first footnote where I cite this work. But after the first citation, I need to have all subsequent footnotes refer to the book by a shortened title, like "Beyond Calvin." Is there a way of having Zotero do this for me?

    Use "short title" ;-)

Whether and how it gets printed in the citations is style-dependent.
  • Doh! Right in front of me all along. Thanks much!
