webdav and synch

Please help me to set up a zotero group. The problem I am having is setting up a shared server, will any ftp site do?

I found the documentation fell short of allowing me to do this, all the free webdav sites didn't work......

    If you want file syncing for your personal library, you will need to use WebDAV, which is different from FTP. You cannot use FTP for syncing.
