Multiple bug in Zotero with Word

I'm experiencing a lot of problems since yesterday. The citations appear underlined, the articles already cited do not appear as such and the "- " sign is replaced by a kind of question mark. I've tried to restart zotero and word, but nothing happened.
Is there a bug or something? I work on a mac computer

Thank you a lot but I do not define a 20-page document as "large". I'll try to enable updates

Definitely 20 pages is not large and you shouldn’t need to disable automatic updates. Dan was just pointing out what the underlining was.
