How do I get the Zotero bibliography into MS Word???

MS Word has the Zotero add-in but does not recognize the bibliography that sits in my Zotero.org account. How do I get it into MS Word? What am I missing? I have searched far and wide and see nothing on this particular issue.

To make a bibliography in Word, you first need to add citations to the items as you write your paper:

If you just want to make a static reference list and not have Zotero automatically update it as you add and remove new citations, select the items in Zotero, right-click, and choose Create Bibliography.
