Importing references from word document created with Zotero by another user

Hello, I have searched the forum without success.
Is there a way to import into my zotero the references entered by a colleague who used zotero in compiling a word document.
I know we could export the references and import them, or share a group, but I think in some cases you may just want to import the references from a single doc...
Any idea?

But note that that the items you import into Zotero will not be connected to the Word document. They will be a new copy in your Zotero library.
