printing notes

Help please! I am having an awful time trying to print my notes. I have read all of the past threads and looked also at the guide on generating reports. I would like to generate a report on my complete library for my thesis. I 'right click' to highlight everything but once selecting all, there is no option for "generate report." I thought that maybe it had something to do with the browser, but nothing is different between safari/chrome/firefox. Wasting a lot of time trying to figure this out and now starting to panic. :-/

Reports work from the installed software. It sounds like you're trying this on the website, where report generation (and easy printing of really anything) isn't possible.

Install Zotero from zotero.org/download , sync (https://www.zotero.org/support/sync ), then follow the instructions.

I'm hopeless. I already have an account. Moved to next step to edit the preferences section, but can't locate Preferences. Thanks for helping me to navigate this. If my techy sidekick were here, problem would be solved...but I have to wing it on a Saturday unfortunately. Why might I not be seeing 'Preferences?'

Have you installed Zotero on your computer and synced it with the online account? The report generation is NOT done in your browser, but rather in the standalone Zotero application installed on your computer.
