Saving Journals to Zotero, saves as "Item type" : "Book". instead of "Journal".

I have a record presented in xml format, with type = journal.
when i save the record to zotero, in info tab, the item type = book.
any idea what could cause this?

Zotero doesn't have an item type for whole journals, so we save them as books, which is a better fit than treating them like individual journal articles, in our assessment.

A periodical item type is planned, though.
