Hi folks, is there a way to quickly search zotero when in other apps - say when in an editor ? Allow you to search by key words and then quick open the pdf ?
Unfortunately not, not. There used to be an app, Qnotero, for that, but as far as I know that doesn't work with Zotero 5. It'd be cool if someone updated it (it's open source) https://github.com/smathot/qnotero
If you are on a Mac, there is an Alfred integration. The Qnotero tool is available for Windows and Linux (though it requires some updates to make it work with Zotero 5: https://github.com/smathot/qnotero/issues/27).
You can also use the PyZotero package with Python.
