Scroll bar on the article list does not work

I do not know how to reproduce this, but sometimes the scroll bar on the item list stops working. More specifically, it seems as if dragging the small bubble in the scroll bar is disabled. If I click on the middle of the bubble and try to drag it, nothing happens. If I click on either end of the bubble and drag, the list scrolls a little. The effect is same what I would expect when I click above or below the scroll bubble. The scroll bar works sometimes, but most of the time not. However, I have not been able to confirm how to reproduce this behavior.

I have a large collection and it is very cumbersome to use mouse wheel to scroll through a list of thousands of articles. Any tips on troubleshooting are appreciated.

I am running FF 3.5b4 and Zotero 2.0b4 on OS X
