Obtaining Abstracts

Is there a way for Zotero to capture an abstract automatically without having to copy and paste it? Thanks.

If the page you are importing from provides abstract data, Zotero will import it automatically. How are you adding items to your library?

From the Add by Identifier option on my stand alone version.

if you add by DOI then generally no. Abstracts are typically not provided by CrossRef. But as bwiernik says, if you go to the publisher page (e.g. by following the DOI link), import will typically include the abstract.

I tried citing from two publishers, but it only gave me the option to download to RefWorks or Mendeley, or RefWorks and EasyBib. Any suggestions?
