Help! 2 quick (?) fixes to Zotero style

Dear Experts,

I'm lost and not a Zotero style expert. Is there anyone out there who can help me with 2 problems I have with below style (which has been great otherwise). I am writing my PhD in German which requires a bit of tweaking.

Problem 1: In case there is an "et al" situation, the style below usually writes "u.a." while I would like it to be "u. a." (i.e. with a space in between. Any idea what I would have to change?

Problem 2: In case there are multiple authors of the same name with an article in the same year, the style uses the given name to disambiguate which is working fine. The only thing is that the style uses "/" while I would like it to be ", ". Any ideas?

I'd be most grateful for any help, getting desperate...

THANKS SO MUCH!

The style I have been using is called "sozialwissenschaften-heilmann"

    1. add this between the info section and your first macro:

    <locale xml:lang="de">
    <terms>
    <term name="et-al">et al.</term>
    </terms>
    </locale>

    2. You need to change the sort-separator.
  • Thanks a lot! That's very helpful!
  • Also, make sure to change file ID, self link and filename to something like sozialwissenschaften-heilmann-adaptiert. Otherwise the new style will get overwritten again with the next update.
