Standalone is not Syncing

I have been using Zotero in its multiple versions (first the Mozilla plugin, then the stand alone and I even had the Chrome plugin when it became available). I recently update the standalone version (I haven’t done it in a while) and I started the syncing process. But after it finished only one paper was displayed and not the rest of my collections. I checked the preferences and I am connected to my account and the sync folder is the same I was using before (meaning that the data is in my computer and also all My-Collections are in the Zotero web version). I am not getting a syncing error message, and the green arrow goes for a few seconds and then stops. Otherwise, all my citations style preferences are listed (meaning that at least part of my preferences are bein recognized). Any recommendations of what to do?? Thanks
