Attachments mislocated after Windiws re-install

Hi,

I had to replace the hard disk on my computer and re-install windows and Zotero. I have synced Zotero and recovered the attachement directory from a backup, but now Zotero cannot find the attachments anymore despite specifying the correct attachment in preferences and Zotfile settings. When I try to open an attachment, I get the message "The attached file could not be found". Is there a way to re-link the attachments without doing them manually one-by-one? I have too many of them!

Are these linked files or stored files?

Can you provide a Debug ID for an attempt to open a file that isn't found?

These are linked files on my hard disk (not saved on Zotero server). Here is the Debug ID I got: D406487742

For example, the attachment path shows up as follows:

H:\My Library\Brown, Wendy\Brown_American Nightmare_Political Theory-2006-690-714.pdf

While instead it should be like this:

D:\Library\Brown, Wendy\Brown_American Nightmare_Political Theory-2006-690-714.pdf

Yeah, so that likely just means you hadn't properly configured the base directory on the old computer, so it's still looking using an absolute path. There are ways to fix that through Zotero by temporarily remounting that drive, but it's easier to use Zutilo.
