One style for citations, another style for bibliography (within same document)

My apologies if there is a thread I should have posted this in.

I'd like to use a particular author date citation style in footnotes (Journal of Social Philosophy--because it puts brackets only around the date, not author and date--but I don't like the bibliographic style that is associated with it. Is there a way to reformat the bibliography with a different style?

I'm using stand alone Zotero on a Mac with Word (and Word plugin). I've tried copying and pasting the bibliography that is generated into a new document and reformatting it, but Zotero can't find the associated citations, so won't proceed. I've also tried stripping the codes from the document, leaving only the plain text citations, then doing a Zotero RTF scan of the document to generate a bibliography in my desired style. That worked, but not consistently from document to document. I don't know why.

Any suggestions?
