Style Request: Lehrstuhl Kempf Universität zu Köln

Hello,

I need a Citation Style as follows:

In text citation (as footnote needed if possible):
Vgl. Campbell/Pedersen (2007), S. XX.
Vgl. Mares (2001), S. XX.

pages will be inserted manually by myself as I have to give the exact number of the page where I find the information in the book or article.

For books no special chapter declaration in bibliography needed.
So would only need:
David Soskice (2001): Varieties of capitalism: The institutional foundations of comparative advantage, (edition number). Aufl, New York, Oxford University Press

footnotes would have to be ongoing and each on the bottom of the page where they are set.

if more than two Authors:
In text citation (as footnote needed if possible):
Vgl. XXXX/XXXX/XXXX (year), S.XX

In Bibliography for journal article and book:
XXXX; XXXX; XXXX und XXXX for the names (XXXX stands for each name in the form as given above for example: Campbell, John L.

For all who are able to read german language following link:

Chapters 2.8.3, 2.8.5, 2.11

Thank you!
  • Re-check on chapters: That's "Beitrag in Sammelwerk" in German and it's in the style guide.
  • David Soskice (2001): Varieties of capitalism: The institutional foundations of comparative advantage, (edition number). Aufl, New York, Oxford University Press

Additional information the edition number does not have to be in brackets.
so for the sixth edition of a book I would need:
    6. Aufl.,

I also just noticed that I forgot the . after Aufl in the description.
So: 6. Aufl., would be right
  • I'm referring to this:
Constantinides, George M. (1989): Theory of Valuation: Overview and Recent
Developments, in: Bhattacharya, Sudipto; Constantinides, George M. (Hrsg.):
Theory of Valuation: Frontiers of Modern Financial Theory, Vol. 1, Savage,
    S. 112 – 118.
  • Ah okay I understand. There is nothing given for "Beitrag in Sammelwerk" in the manual from our Professor.
So for the chapter I think the right way would be:
Constantinides, George M. (1989): Theory of Valuation: Overview and Recent
Developments, in: Bhattacharya, Sudipto; Constantinides, George M. (Hrsg.):
Theory of Valuation: Frontiers of Modern Financial Theory, Vol. 1, Savage,
    S. 112 – 118., place of publisher, nameof publisher
  • Is this what you ment adamsmith?
  • yes, the right format, but we'd want the Mares chapter as a sample formatted that way (we use this to quickly identify closely matching styles, which in turn helps us more quickly make the requested styles)
  • Sorry maybe again in German. Think this would be easier.
  • Mares, Isabela (2001): Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to employers?, in: Hall, Peter A. und Soskice, David (Hrsg.): Varieties of capitalism: The institutional foundations of comparative advantage, S. 184 – 213, New York, Oxford University Press.

  • Alles klar vielen Dank!

So.
"Hall u.a.
  • Thanks. Will have a look later/tomorrow.
  • 1. ibid: entfernt
    2. fixed
    3. et-al settings entfernt
    4. kein Ahnung. Wo gibst du denn das 233f ein?

    https://github.com/POBrien333/styles/raw/51f6a913c84fd0ec42d61a59cb37ccdea893b9ea/universitat-zu-koln-seminar-fur-abwl-und-finanzierungslehre.csl
  • bis montag kann iches nicht ausprobieren.
    melde mich!

    @niklasnever
