Another RTFScan question

When writing a document for use with RTFscan it would be useful if I could drag and drop a reference from zotero to an appropriate point in my document so that instead of the full reference it inserts (Smith, 2006) rather than the full reference. Is this possible?

    If you had a (custom or existing) style that generated citations in that format, you could select it in the Export pane of the Zotero prefs and use Shift-drag (or Cmd-Shift-A/Ctrl-Alt-A) to create citations (as opposed to bibliography entries).
