Open Worldcat tags/subject headings
hi,
Is there any chance someone could tweak the translator for Open Worldcat so that the subject headings are consistently imported into Zotero as tags?
I've done some comparisons. Example: Erie Water (1933) by Walter Edmonds in Open Worldcat http://cornell.worldcat.org/oclc/989838 does have subject headings but none of them come through into Zotero. But the same book in the proprietary version of Worldcat Firstsearch, the translator does bring the subject headings into Zotero. Same with other library catalogs.
Grabbing subject headings when we import books into Zotero is a big deal for serious researchers with very large Zotero libraries, so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks much! I was resistant to Zotero 5 at first, but it didn't take long before I came to really like it.
Best,
Virginia

adamsmithZotero relies on metadata provided by sites for import. Open Worldcat (as opposed to FirstSearch) does not provide keywords/subject headings in its metadata export (under Cite/Export). I'm afraid there isn't much we can do about that. You can try asking OCLC, but they've not been treating Open Worldcat with much love over there.
