Zotero no longer recognizes my references--I changed footnotes in Word.

Previously I couldn't get Zotero to make my citations end notes, and NOT in Roman Numeral. So in Word (for Mac) I went to Insert-Footnotes, and I converted all footnotes to endnotes and arabic numerals. Now Zotero doesn't recognize my bibliography. I'm not sure if what I did previously is causal, but I can't get it to work now. This is a book manuscript with hundreds of citations. Any ideas?

    I think it's sensitive to whether the bibliography is inserted before or after the endnotes, I don't remember which.
