zotero does not sync

hi, I have downloaded zotero on my new computer and it doesn't wont to sync with my account. The red exclamation mark appears saying that my e-mail address or password was not accepted. I checked the login in the online version, to make sure I remember it correctly and it works, I even changed the password, just in case, but still nothing. What can I do?

The error really does mean what it says. Clear the username and password fields completely, reenter them, and try again.
