Changing citation style leads to problems

Hello,

I want to change my citation style from Vancouver to Cell.
That change results in just adding the in text quote of the new style but not deleting the old.
Example: TextText (1)(Roy Rosenzweig et al.)

Could anyone please help me.

Thanks,

Jan
  • What specific versions of Zotero and Word are you running?

Okay, now I updated to the current version 5.0.47

I still have a problem with the Cell style: Now it doubles the intext styles like

    (Schunkert, 2014)(Schunkert, 2014)
  • In Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors reinstall the Word plugin. You were using the old Word plugin and citations inserted in Word 16.9 or higher will be corrupt (i.e. the ones that have double-text). You will need to remove them completely (including one character before the citation, due to the nature of corruption) and reinsert. The Word plugin should usually update itself automatically, unless you installed it manually when you began working with Zotero or have changed your Zotero profile directory at some point in the past.
