Bibliography is not appearing (Mac)

Hello,

I have a thesis bibliography to generate and Zotero does not make the Bibliography appear when I click 'add bibliography' in Word.
After repeated trials, sometimes this message appears: {Citation}
I have tried to wait, to not touch any other app, etc, to no avail. I have restarted the laptop several times, restarted word and zotero too several times.

If I ask Zotero to report errors, this is what I get:

I would really need to have that bibliography done soon, as I am technically behind the deadline. Any help appreciated.

Mac: OX El Capitan Version 10.11.14
Word for mac: 14.7.3

    Start by upgrading to Word 14.7.7, which was the last version of Word 2011. If you're still having trouble after that, if it works in a new document, see Debugging Broken Documents.

    Thank you, I just did - but unfortunately it is still not working. I don't have the heart to halve my thesis of 350 pages again and again to find the bug TT

    That's the point of halving — it's only about eight steps to get to a single page. And to be clear, you're doing this in a copy of the document, so your original document wouldn't be affected.
