Summary of direct-to-zotero.org capabilities/limitations?

Locally I am sometimes asked what the constraints are for web translator saves direct to zotero.org, and I've been unsure of the answer. Is there a summary note of the current limitations of saves via the translator server, either in general documentation or in a forum post? I know summaries have been posted in support responses, but I haven't been able to find an appropriate one with a forum search.
