How to add "code number" to column headers?

I am working with a large number of citations for which the item type is "statute." Each of these items has a code number ("code number" is one of the info fields provided under the "statute" item type). However, when I click the sort icon, "code number" is not an option to add to the column headers.

It seems like there should be a straightforward fix for this, but I have not been able to figure it out. Any help greatly appreciated!

    Sorry, not possible, only a subset of fields are available for display/sorting in the middle panel

    Is there a way I can submit a request to change that feature in future updates? (This is a pretty big issue for me given the types of citations I work with frequently; I'm going to stop using Zotero if I find another software that allows me to sort by that information.)
