Zotero doesn't appear in Word

Hi,
I have a problem using Zotero in Word in my Mac.
I have the last version of Zotero and the only way I have to see the Zotero menu in Word is when I open a document called Zotero.dot. However, when I use any other word document, the Zotero buttons do not appear, so I cannot insert in-text citations or the bibliography. Any ideas?

What is the specific version of Word (like 15.13)? Have you tried reinstalling the Word plugin from Zotero Preferences -> Cite -> Word Processors?

It's word 2011, version 14.
Yes, I've done that. It says it's successfully installed but I cannot find it in Word. Where should it appear?

Thanks for this. OK, so now I do have it under a tab in word that is like an icon of an S or something. How do I get it as 5 icons in the tool bar? I think this should now be easy. i just don't know how.
The problem was that I have Office in two languages and the Zotero folder was only in the English version folder.

You cannot get the Zotero buttons into a toolbar on Mac Word 2011 unfortunately.
