Upgrade StorageRename tag
Perhaps someone else has pointed this out already (I didn't have the time to browse the various posts on the topic of tags) but when I right-click on a tag (in the tag pane) and rename the tag, I have to close Zotero and even restart Firefox for the results to appear.
In other words, (1) go to the tag pane, (2) right-click on a tag, choose "rename," (3) rename the tag and (4) press enter.
After that, neither the items in "my library" nor the items in any particular folder are loaded. The tag pane says "No tags to display." The middle pane stays blank, while the right pane says "no items selected."
It all works fine (and the tag is actually renamed) when I restart Firefox.

dstillmanThis is listed on Known Issues and Planned Features: "Renaming selected tag causes all items to disappear". It's already fixed on the dev branch.
