Society of Biblical Literature style (2nd edition) - no ibid?

"Ibid" is no longer used for short notes in SBL style (2nd edition). It populates all of the short note footnotes for consecutive authors/works with author-title. How do I change this back to "ibid"?

getting ibid back involves a fair amount of editing for the style -- we can tell you what to do, but it's not that simple.

I also need "Ibid" back for SBL style. Is it possible to create an SBL style with Ibid? Some schools require SBL with Ibid.
