Style Request: The Botanical Review
Dear Zotero community, I'm looking for the style of "The Botanic Review". The Botanical Review has been a leading international journal noted for its in-depth articles on a broad spectrum of botanical fields.

Examples of literature cited in the text, the captions, the tables, or the appendixes:
- For 1 author or editor: Knapp (2002) or (Knapp, 2002).
- For 2 authors or editors: Orndorff and Lang (1981) or (Orndorff & Lang, 1981).
- For 3 or more authors or editors, name only the first author or editor, followed by "et
al.": Nixon et al. (1994) or (Nixon et al., 1994). All authors' or editors' names should
appear in the References.
- For several different works in one citation, arrange the works in alphabetical order
or chronological order consistently throughout the article, and use "a," "b," etc. for
multiple works by the same author(s) or editor(s): (Baetke et al., 1978; Levin, 1965a,
1965b, 1965c, 1967; McHale & Alston, 1955) or (McHale & Alston, 1955; Levin, 1965a, 1965b, 1965c, 1967; Baetke et al., 1978).
- In press: Tretyn (in press) or (Tretyn, in press). If two or more works by the same
author(s) or editor(s) are in press, use "a," "b," etc. to distinguish them.
- In preparation: Young (in prep.) or (Young, in prep.). If two or more works by the
same author(s) or editor(s) are in preparation, use "a," "b," etc. to distinguish them.
- Unpublished research and personal communications may be cited in the text but
should not included in the References: (P. Endress, unpubl.) or (P. Endress, pers.
comm.).
REFERENCES
- Verify all entries against sources, especially journal titles, accents, diacritical marks,
and spelling in languages other than English.
- List works by the same author(s) chronologically, beginning with earliest date of
publication.
- Cite references in alphabetical order by the surname of the first author.
(Multiauthored references are listed in alphabetical order of authors.)
- Cite references by a single author before multiauthored references by same author.
- Multiauthored references with two authors should be listed before other
multiauthored references with 3 or more authors.
- Use a long dash when the authors are the same as in the immediately preceding
citation.
- “In press” citations must have been accepted for publication; give name of journal or
publisher.
- Insert a space after each initial of an author's name, following volume numbers, and
between the colon following volume number and page numbers.
- Write journal names and book titles in full, without abbreviation.
- Titles of books are written in lower case except the first word and proper nouns and
as required in original language of titles.
