When you have two footnotes from the same source in a row, the second one should produce a short title. It works when they are not sequential but one after the other looks like the above. Yes, I have a short title assigned. Is anyone else having this same problem?

    Jefferson Papers should be in italics. I can't transfer it over that way.
  • OK, so it's the Jefferson Papers that's missing?
    I'm skeptical about that -- these immediately subsequent notes (which in the 16th edition would have just been ibid.) are supposed to be very short. If anything I'd just expect
