Upgrade StorageGoogle Patent PDFs. Drag drop PDF metadata? PDF link snapshot?
It would be nice if the patent PDF was collected when collecting the reference information of a patent from a google patents "about this patent" page.
I have another unrelated concern. When I drag and drop a PDF or import a PDF through the create item button the files appears in Zotero's central box as a general file not a pdf (the icon is blank white not the red symbol). The problem is that there isn't an option to retrieve metadata when this happens.
One more problem since the 2.0b3 update when I right click on a link and try to take a Zotero snapshot of a target PDF (such as on google patents) something has been causing Firefox to ask me if I want to open the file with program X or save the file. Since the my current configuration of Firefox opens some PDFs within Firefox and some externally through adobe reader (I don't know why) this can complicate getting a PDF into Zotero.
PS, I'm using Zotero 2.0b4 and Firefox 3.0.10 and thanks for a great product.
