Search clears when switching collections

Perhaps others disagree, but I would prefer if the quicksearch field did not clear when clicking on a different collection. I often search for an item then realize that I may not yet have put it in the collection I am currently viewing (hey, my categorization skills aren't perfect yet). Even if offered only as a preference option, I would very much like to be able to apply the current quicksearch to another collection when I click on it.

    I couldn't find if this issue is discussed elsewhere in Support... but I'd like to second this suggestion.
