Zotero delets small caps without being told to do so
Hello,
a few weeks ago, my Zotero started to update my citation style automatically also in all the cases where I have deleted the "full stop" at the end of a citation to put a comma and the page behind it (it did not do so for at least 2,5 years!). When I denied the update, becase I did not want to have the full stop re-emerging, Zotero nonetheless changed the citation in so far that the small caps in which the authors name was written were transformed into normal letters. In between, I've changed the citation style by my own, the full stop is not part of a citation anymore. Still, not only the normal written author names remain when I refresh the document, but also suddenly some citations change their style from small caps to normal letters. What can I do?

To make sure all formatting is applied, trying switching to a different style and back.
If you mean that you manually put authors in small caps and want Zotero to not overwrite that, I'm not sure that's going to be possible. Fix the citation style accordingly.
