Cannot import PDF file using Zotero Import command

Looking to bypass connector issue and am trying to import PDF file into Zotero. The file is not imported on account of it is not recognized as a supported file format. Report ID 756256593

    import is for data files. Just drag the PDF to Zotero to add it.

    Appreciate the help....but dragging a dropping does not work either. I can only get a PDF in by attaching a file.

    interesting. How about "Store copy of file" under the green + sign?

    You've checked, btw., that attached files are actually attached and stored in the Zotero data directory?
