Word plugin : zotero does not follow the numbering
Hello,
I am sorry if this problem is already in the forum (I could not find it ...).
I am experiencing a trouble shooting with the numbering in Word. Indeed, since this morning, when I am adding a new citation, Zotero begin with [1] instead of following the numbering ...
I tried to copy-paste the text in a new document, or copy-paste the file ... But the problem persists !
If anybody can help me ...
I thank you in advance,
Lucie

adamsmithHave you clicked the "Refresh" button in the Zotero Word add-on?
-
Lucie plagneYes many times ... But still does not work.
-
adomasvenIf you put the cursor on existing citation numbers and press Add/Edit Citation do you get the Zotero prompt with the cited items or is it empty?
-
Lucie plagneedited March 14, 2018Yes I get the zotero dialog with the cited items ! The "old" references work well ... That is why I do not undertsand !
-
adomasvenIn document preferences is "Automatically update citations" checked? Does it fix itself if you check it?
-
Lucie plagneNo it is not checked. Should I check it ?
-
adomasvenYes, check it and try again.
-
Lucie plagneYES ! It worked, thank you so much ...
-
adamsmith@adomasven -- I had the same thought, but I thought refresh would work?
-
adomasven@Lucie%20plagne what citation style are you using?
-
Lucie plagneI am using "PLOS ONE" style . May be the problem is due to the style, you're right ! Because I changed the older to this one in order to obtain square bracket [] !
