Style Request: [Critical Care Medicine]
This request could fill two needs, as the main journal (Critical Care Medicine) is also the parent journal for Pediatric Critical Care Medicine, which uses the same, and thus dependent, style.
The Critical Care Medicine style is very similar to the style of:
• American Journal of Psychiatry [Install] 2009-01-24 13:04:19
which is in the Zotero Style Repository.
The modifications I had to make from the AJ Psychiatry style to prepare my manuscript for Critical Care Medicine were as follows:
- cut to 3 authors and add et al,
- italicized abbreviated journal name
- in citation numbering in text (not reference list), individual numbers need to be seperated with commas, rather than semicolons (as in AJP)
For instance, here is a set of references using the AJ Psychiatry style:
String (1-4). Two (5; 6). One (6).
And here are the same references, after modification to meet the Critical Care Medicine style (though you have to imagine that the abbreviated journal names are italicized, as I can't do that on this post):
String (1-4). Two (5, 6). One (6).

Having this (or these, if Pediatric Critical Care Medicine was developed as a dependent style) style available would be great.
Thanks,

Rintzeedited May 20, 2009I uploaded both styles to the Zotero Style Repository, in which the three changes you outlined were made. They should appear shortly.
