Zotpic in Zotero 5?

Dear all,

I'm trying to use AppleScript Zotpic (see https://github.com/davepwsmith/zotpick-applescript) by it seems to me it is not working with Zotero 5. I'm trying to connect Scrivener 3 with Zotero in better way than drag-and-drop. If Zotpic now working with Zotero 5 is there a way? Thanks a lot!

@emilianoheyns -- what's the status of BBT CAYW in Zotero 5? I can't get it to work (i.e. http://localhost:23119/better-bibtex/cayw?format=mmd&clipboard=yes both from the browser & via curl does nothing), but not sure if I'm doing something wrong of it's not yet in Z5

The BBT CAYW was working for me earlier on Mac and Window. Haven't tried in a few months.

CAYW ought to work -- I can just click that link you posted and the picker comes up. Can you send a BBT error report?

Thanks and sorry for getting the username wrong yet again (sigh).
Posted the error report here https://github.com/retorquere/zotero-better-bibtex/issues/924 I'm pretty sure the problem is that I'm running the beta, so this might just be fortuitous timing in testing this so you're aware it would break once 5.0.36 comes out.

But @volrab -- that does mean that zotpick should work if you
a) have Better BibTeX installed and
b) are _not_ running the Zotero beta

BBT CAYW works again with the Z5 beta; the beta picker behaves differently, but I have an easy workaround.

I know you can pick "classic view" from the dropdown under the zotero logo in the picker. I don't know if it's possible to configure things in such a way that you always get the classic view (which, TBH, I also prefer).

@volrab does BBT respond to the “Use Classic Dialog” preference in the Cite pane of Zotero preferences?
