Footnote number

In one of the documents, suddenly the footnote numbering has began from 2, instead of 1. How to resolve this issue?

    Footnote numbering is handled by the Word processor, you'd have to troubleshoot that there.

    I tried, in word processor, the numbering is 1,2,3.... but the document is still with 2,4,6,.....If I want to put manually 1, then it becomes 1,3,5....

    What I'm saying is that Zotero has literally nothing to do with how footnotes are numbered -- it just passes a command "insert footnote here" to the word processor -- so if the numbering is off, you'll have to troubleshoot that in Word/LibreOffice. If you google for footnote numbering wrong (or something like that) and your word processor, a number of posts will come up that suggest troubleshooting.
