SSL certificate error connecting to api.zotero.org

I have tried troubleshooting using the sync discussion help page however none of those options worked. Anythign else I can do? The error that shows up is this:

SSL certificate error connecting to api.zotero.org

    I tried everything on this except uninstalling. I don't know how to uninstall, could you please help with that?

    I am unable to provide report ID as when I try to obtain one I get another error that says;
    invalid response from repository

    I have recently posted on this forum regarding syncing error. I get the error:
    SSL certificate error connecting to api.zotero.org

    I have done everything on the trouble shooting page about this error except uninstalling and reinstalling Zotero. Is there any person that can help me with this. It is extremely frustrating

    What do you see for site certificate info for zotero.org?
